COURSE DESCRIPTIONS

I. HOW CHILDREN LEARN (12 Instructional Hours)(12 Practice Hours)(50 Total Hours)

Until you understand how children learn, you will not be able to teach. We will cover methods, techniques and systems.

Children develop at different rates and you must be able to distinguish the ages and stages in order to choose the appropriate instruction method.

 

Cooperative Learning (1 Instructional Hour)

What are the developmental stages of threes and fours and how to develop lesson plans to meet each child’s unique developmental needs.

 

How Children Learn (2 Instructional Hour)

Explore the different facets of learning and how to incorporate these in your daily plans so that each child may experience success.

 

Imaginations The Foundation Of Play and Learning (1 Instructional Hour)

Life Skills for Schoolagers (1 Instructional Hour)
