PROGRAM DESCRIPTION

This program consists of 845 hours of hands-on education and training in Early Childhood Education. Through hands-on classroom and workshop setting, both theory and practical knowledge is taught in all aspects of Early Childhood Education and the Child Care Setting.

Upon completion of the Child Care Education Program curriculum, a student will be eligible for review and evaluation to receive the Child Development Associate Certificate.

PERFORMANCE OBJECTIVE

Each student will actively participate in discussion groups, maintain and expand a resource file for each module and upon completion demonstrate hands on proficiency of the curriculum in a child care setting.

ENTRANCE REQUIREMENTS

Each student must have a high school diploma or GED.

FEES

Full-time

A non-refundable application fee of $75.00 is due upon application for enrollment.
Full-time tuition is $2000.00.

Part-time

Is on a per Instructional Hour basis.
To Enroll in the Child Care Education Program as a Full-time student call for an interview at
259-5570.

To Enroll on a Part-time basis complete the course registration form and return to CCEP, 271 Wildwood Drive, Rochester, NY 14616. You may complete up to 50 Instructional Hours annually without enrolling on a full-time basis. An enrollment agreement will be forwarded upon return of registration form.
